Jeans that fit and perform
I really like Peter Millar denim. This is my second pair of jeans in the line up of Peter Millar pants, and I know I will really enjoy the comfort, fit and style these jeans. In particular, I appreciate the fit and attention to detail. Like the placement of belt loops to keep the jeans from slipping on my waist or sagging on the hips. I like the fact I can wear my jeans all day and not worry about them changing shape or binding too tightly. Thanks, Peter Millar, for making this soft, comfortable pair of denim.

The rise is too short
The new cut on these jeans feature a rise that is far too short for most men. Not sure why PM has chosen to stop serving so much of the market but when I order a "Classic" cut from them, I expect that cut.

Comfortable basic denim
Nice jeans for knocking around on the weekends. Comfortable thinner denim with stretch. Color of the dark indigo is indeed dark, but not quite as squid ink colored as the photos. Biggest issue for me is my larger thighs - even the Crown classic cut pant is a little slim for my build. I am usually a 33, but have been purchasing 34 lately to try and give legs a little more room. That also gives a comfortable ‘dad fit’ in the rise. I have to cinch the waist smaller but that isn't a big deal. If you have an athletic/built lower half, there is a chance these will seem like a tailored fit. That being said, the stretch helps and keeps them comfortable. The price is good considering what is in the market these days (excellent deal if you get these while on sale).

Great fit. But no short inseams.
Fit and fabric texture is great. My only comment is with size avail. Seems like never have shorter inseams available. I have to pay extra for alterations.

I bought a pair of Pilot Mill Denim jeans but had to exchange sizes. The quality of the jeans is good and the color is as advertised. The material is a bit thinner than some denim but it' comfortable and has a bit of stretch. The exchange occurred promptly.
