Excellent Jacket
This is an excellent jacket. I have 2 Barbours (Ashby and Stratford) that are more tailored fit than the traditional styles, and I wanted a similarly fitting coat for Alabama winter that can be machine washed and requires less maintenance. This fits my needs perfectly. It's an excellent jacket for 40-60 degree (F) days, and I have also worn it with satisfaction on 20-40 degree days over either a combo of polo/quarterzip or button down/light sweater underneath. I love the shirt collar as well. As an adult man, I do not use jacket hoods, so look elsewhere if that's your thing.
My only criticism is the pocket placement. I would rather have them slanted and placed higher than placed near the bottom and parallel with the hem.
I ordered online without realizing that my city has a Peter Millar retail store. I went to the brick and mortar location to try on some pants (didn't like any, sorry PM), and I tried on the jacket while there. I wound up walking out with it and returning the one I ordered so the nice girl who helped me got her sales credit. Delivery took one week after order to arrive, and return process was simple.
I am 6'1", 183 lbs. Size large fits great when zipped or buttoned, but it looks a little bulky when open. The medium looked better when unzipped but was tight through shoulders and armpits when fastened. The Peter Millar folks helped me settle on the large and pinned/chalked for alterations ($40, still waiting for them to complete, but I think it will be perfect once done).

Solid Jacket
5,8 165 Medium fits perfectly. It’s a fantastic material has a little bit of flex. Solid windbreaker/rain jacket. While it looks great it won’t keep you to to warm. Overall looks great. Lots of compliments.
