Stylish warmth but not for extreme cold weather
Well made and soft cashmere looks pretty sharp for a knit cap. But this is not a hat for a long New England winter. But there are plenty of times when you need warmth but aren't spending all day in extreme weather. Because it is relatively thin it fits easily in your pocket when you get to where you are going.

Not as nice as they once were
I own a cashmere beanie purchased from a previous season and it's great. Tight knit, and a tight, sleek fit. This "new" version just falls short. The knit is already showing pilling and the fit is much more "loose" compared to the older beanie we own. Additionally, the tags are located on the side of the beanie, which rubs against our ear. The previous cashmere beanie we own (which had the Peter Millar crown logo on the front) had the tag located on the top/middle of the cap. Small differences, but it's night/day between the quality of the older beanie and the current version. Wish the style would go back to what it once was.
